The Logo

The logo is a bit of a play on some Buddhist philosophy. With my five years living in or near a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, I got a bit steeped in this stuff.

Coincidentally, my intials are a homonym for "empty." Buddhist philosophy rests upon the idea of the emptiness of phenomena. So, with the logo, I'm playing with that idea a bit.

With the 'T' being empty, I make the point a little more.

THE PICTURE

The year I left for India, a designer friend of mine took a photo of me and put it against a festive background and through a Santa's hat on me. Then he had them printed out and shipped to me. It was his way of making sure that I kept in touch -- at least during the holidays -- with friends in the U.S.
